The Holy Atmosphere of Gaia - A poem

The holy atmosphere that surrounds us all,

Is a force of nature, never to fall,

It is the air we breathe and the wind we feel,

A gift of life, that's ever so real.

The energy that flows within,

Is a sacred power,

It's always present, yet so unseen,

A miracle of nature, beyond a dream.

The clouds that gather, the rain that pours,

Are the symphonies, that nature adores,

From the sun that shines, to the moonlit nights,

It's a divine power, that's unseen yet always in sight.

The atmosphere that envelops the Earth,

Is a witness to its every birth,

It connects us all, with every breath,

A holy spirit, beyond life and death. Pause, take a breath and take it in.

Feel the atmosphere on your skin. Exhale out and become one again.

And again.

This poem was inspired by reading The Perceptual Implications of Gaia by David Abram.
